Care/of (takecareof.com) is a fast-growing, venture-backed wellness startup. We make it easier and more enjoyable to shop for vitamins (and maybe even a little fun, too). Our technology makes it possible for people to get custom vitamin recommendations based on their diets and health goals, which we deliver in convenient daily packs with a touch of joy. We aim to help people feel empowered to make the right choices for their health by being transparent about the research backing up our recommendations and the quality of our products. About the job

As a Care Team Associate, you are the voice of Care/of and have a direct relationship with our customers. You are in a unique position to offer expert knowledge of our brand, products, and services, and may often find yourself discussing personal or health-related issues and offering your advice and recommendations. Our customers will put their trust in you. Try to reward that trust by being honest, warm, and friendly, and by putting them at ease. In doing so, you will help people develop lasting relationships with our brand. And don’t forget to have fun along the way. Specific responsibilities of the job include:

  • Act as the voice of Care/of, helping customers resolve inquiries and issues through warm, kind interactions. Develop relationships with customers through text, email, calls, and chat
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of our products and systems, as well as curiosity and awareness of new initiatives within the industry
  • Act in accordance with regulations around recommending vitamins and supplements in relation to health concerns
  • Record and relay customer feedback and insights to internal teams including tech, marketing, design, and product to allow for continual improvement of the customer experience


  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Strong people skills - empathy, personality, humor, warmth, kindness, listening skills
  • A ‘no task is too small’ attitude and the endurance to consistently deliver amazing customer experiences
  • Team player who works well with a wide range of personalities
  • No prior experience in customer service required, just experience talking to people :)

  • Flexible working hours, as your schedule will be based on business needs (and could potentially include weekends, evenings, or holidays)
