About the role

Our UK business has tremendous potential and is moving out of its launch phase, which produced fantastic results and attracted a number of high-profile, high-volume clients. To take this market to the next level, we’re now looking for the founding members of its local Ops team; A-players who can set concrete processes and execution plans, work cross-functionally and move fast. This role is a rare opportunity to take your career to the next level; we can guarantee a challenging, fast-paced tech start-up environment, no bureaucracy, and specialised teams of incredibly bright, driven individuals who will be on hand to support you in your undertakings.



  • Develop and optimise processes; take big picture ideas and break them into actionable steps with aggressive timelines for completion
  • Guide business decisions by producing meaningful insights from heavy amounts of data, which you will aggregate from multiple sources and systems
  • Design and implement reports and tools informing the management team on operational or commercial performance
  • Go out on the field to meet clients to better understand their challenges and requirements
  • Define tech requirements: translate feedback from clients and internal teams into comprehensive technical / product requirements
  • Provide feedback to our Spain-based Product team on how best to adapt new products and functionality to the UK market


Requirements and Skills

  • Strong interest in the on-demand labour space and excitement to challenge the status quo
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a scientific field of study (e.g. Engineering, Statistics or Mathematics)
  • Experience in operations management / management consulting / investment banking / strategy work in a large business or a growing startup preferred but not mandatory
  • Expertise with Excel/Sheets mandatory, ability to code in SQL or Python preferred
  • Exceptional project management skills: the ability to prioritise and successfully drive a project from beginning to end
  • Attention to detail balanced with swift execution; we need to do things quickly and we need to do them well
  • A self-starter attitude and the ability to take initiative in a constantly-changing work environment
  • Fluency in English, spoken and written
  • Demonstrated experience interpreting and presenting data to various audiences; ability to translate quantitative findings into action plans
