About the role

The Senior Associate, Real Estate role will support our Real Estate team with new store locations.  The role supports strategy, site selection, lease administration, and contract management.  Additionally, you will help build processes and procedures for the future growth of the company.  The role is critical to our day to day operations and will be an important member of our team. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist team with real estate site selection process by vetting new markets and analyzing potential opportunities.
  • Communicate cross functionally with other teams in weekly meetings and manage internal software to ensure everyone is aligned with new locations.
  • Utilize ESRI and other mapping softwares for upcoming site approvals, new store openings, and internal strategy.
  • Support with lease abstracts and maintaining critical dates and requirements for leases
  • Perform real estate market studies of current and future expansion opportunities
  • Complete site due diligence reports
  • Create presentations for internal approval meetings
  • Analyze local ordinances and zoning codes to determine development parameters
  • Identify, develop, and propose opportunities for business/process improvement

The experience you have

  • 2+ years of real estate experience
  • Experience reviewing LOI’s, leases and legal documents
  • Strong computer skills—comfortable with MS Office (Excel, Outlook and Word primarily), ESRI, Jira, and other document management systems
  • Extremely detail oriented and organized
  • Able to work under pressure, time management
  • Ability to quickly delegate troubleshooting and resolve effectively and efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently and react quickly in a demanding, fast-paced environment
  • Role primarily will be based in New York City and New Jersey.

  • You solve problems and make decisions informed by data, technology trends and insights, and good judgement
  • You have a strong eye for detail, able to identify potential risks or callouts for each potential sites
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • You can work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Base Salary: $92,000
