In this role, you will serve as a vital member of our sanitation team at our state-of-the-art production kitchen by being responsible for maintaining a clean environment in accordance with Food Safety and Sanitation regulation. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Comply with health and sanitation procedures and support overall cleanliness and maintenance of the workplace.
- Complete daily tasks assigned by the manager on duty
- Washing and sanitizing all areas including restrooms, offices, kitchens, and conference spaces
- Check machines’ operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues
- Sanitize the common areas, including floors, walls, countertops, furniture and restrooms.
- Removal of garbage throughout operational hours and at the end of the shift
- PPE in accordance with the company’s SOPs
Role Details
- Salary: $16.50/hr
- Job location: Newark, NJ
- Full-Time weekends required, early morning start 5 am or 8 am start
Qualifications & Skills
- 1+ years of experience working in, but not limited to, a restaurant, hotel, or large facility environment
- Comfortable working in various temperatures including cold and hot environments
- Knowledge of proper cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Food Safety and HACCP guideline knowledge including proper protein food safety temperatures and "danger zone" food temperatures
- Ability to work as a team member
- Ability to work in a quick-paced and ever-changing environment
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the US
