The VP School Partnerships will build a high performing business development team and enable rapid growth in the Education industry.

This leadership role will develop and execute strategic goals that increase our impact in the classroom through the growth of existing core services and additional new opportunities that deepen our impact and make a difference for youth.

THE POSITION:

The Vice President of School Partnerships is a sales role responsible for winning new school partners. This role reports to the COO and is a remote opportunity. Travel will be required.

WHAT YOU DO EACH DAY:

  • You will spend 70% of your time doing selling activities - developing excellent relationships with customers where you are credible and trusted.
  • You will expand our existing customer base by building and maintaining executive relationships with key customers; and working directly with prospects and direct reports on new opportunities.
  • You will prospect and develop new business opportunities with new-to-Kokua School Networks.
  • You will meet your quota responsibility by developing a healthy and sustainable sales pipeline in line with the addressable market.
  • You will spend 30% of your time developing a strong business development organisation capable of achieving aggressive sales targets in line with strategic goals.
  • You will recruit, on-board, coach and develop a high performing team who consistently deliver. They will operate on brand and be driven to hit and exceed quotas.
  • You will develop and enhance sales resources, tools, process, and incentive programs to ensure the team is fully engaged and motivated.
  • You will develop sales optics that clearly demonstrate progress to goal, activity management and sales stage development.
  • You will consolidate individual sales forecasts and manage performance against budget.
  • You will collect, evaluate, and provide accurate market, customer, and competitor intelligence trends and customer satisfaction.
  • You will coordinate the preparation of quotations, RFPs or other documents.
  • You will travel as needed, approximately 25-35%

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Sales and Business Acumen You understand the Education industry and have 10+ years of experience with network to show • You have proven intellect, sales acumen, entrepreneurial mindset, and executive presence • You have expertise in managing a sales pipeline and use building out CRM tools • You are aware of how strategies and tactics work in the marketplace • You have financial and data acumen and are comfortable in pricing, budgets and forecasting. A bachelor’s degree is highly preferred.
