Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify and target potential clients within municipalities, non-profits and workforce related entities;
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share;
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers;
- Lead the sales process from initial contact, presentations and contract execution;
- Identify and respond to requests for information (RFIs) and requests for proposals (RFPs);
- Collaborate with Career Team executive team, customer success and product management to ensure clients needs are met and long-term partnerships are established;
- Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities and market changes that will inform our sales and product development strategies;
- Other projects as needed.
Ideal Qualifications:
- 4+ years experience in sales;
- History of creative, persistent and effective follow up for leads;
- Understanding of sales methodologies and working through the full sales cycle;
- You have proven business development success through effective use of core prospection tools: Hubspot CRM, LinkedIn, Emailing tools, and Microsoft Office;
- Strong communication and listening skills, with a passion for connecting with people virtually, over the phone, and face-to-face;
- Possession of a growth mindset, hunter mentality and a positive attitude with a keen interest in learning and building a career in sales;
- Goal-oriented, high energy contributor with a sense of urgency - goes the extra mile to deliver results;
- Have excellent organizational and time management skills as well as the ability to solve problems by thinking analytically and creatively.
Compensation:
- Salary based on experience plus uncapped commission.
Salary is commensurate with education and experience. Career TEAM offers a competitive benefits package
including healthcare, dental, and personal/vacation time.
Travel: Position may require local travel up to 40% of the time.
