About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Manager to join our Careem Pay team. The Product Manager will play a crucial role in optimizing our product and striving to make every customer experience as streamlined as it can be.

What you'll do

  • Product excellence: Identify root causes and solve product issues to drive product excellence, establish internal best practices, and work with our partners to streamline processes on an ongoing basis.
  • Data Analysis: Collect, organize, and analyze both quantitative and qualitative product data. Leverage insights from product usage data, Net Promoter Score (NPS), product stickiness, customer feedback, feature requests, and support tickets to inform product decisions.
  • Experimentation: Manage the entire product experimentation process by tracking, sequencing, and implementing experiments. Develop and refine processes to drive efficiency and eliminate friction.
  • Strategy Development: Foster cross-departmental collaboration around the product. Use product insights to identify areas for improvement and inform strategic business decisions.
  • Process Optimization: Streamline operational tasks and improve communication and efficiency within the product team, allowing product managers to focus on product development and customer satisfaction.
  • Feedback Loops: Accelerate feedback loops between the product, engineering, and customer success teams to enhance feature adoption and overall product performance.

 What you'll need

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau).
  • Be highly detail oriented and customer obsessive, striving to make every customer experience as streamlined as it can be.
  • Experience with product management and experimentation tools (e.g., Jira, A/B testing platforms).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Proven track record in managing complex projects and driving process improvements.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and product development lifecycle.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
