Overview:
We are in search of a seasoned Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) Technical Consultant with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience, particularly within the realm of grocery retail. As a pivotal member of our team, you will spearhead integrations with other systems and Microsoft 365, crafting tailored reports for end-users while leveraging your expertise in D365 F&O.

What you'll do 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O development and implementation.
  • Proficiency in D365 F&O modules including Finance, Supply chain management, Retail, Manufacturing, HR, and Payroll.
  • Extensive experience in D365 Process development, including forms customization, workflows, and SSRS reporting.
  • Expertise in D365 Data Management and Data Entities development.
  • Integration of MS D365 F&O with third-party applications via APIs, ODATA endpoints, with exposure to Dual-write.
  • Moderate functional knowledge of major D365 modules like finance, Supply Chain Management, Retail, HR, and Payroll.
  • Familiarity with MPOS/CPOS and Dynamics Commerce is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Power Platform is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience in end-to-end D365 F&O implementations, with the ability to lead a team of developers.
  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps for maintaining code repositories, with exposure to DevOps Test plans being beneficial.
  • Ability to build Azure DevOps pipelines for D365 F&O automated package creation and deployment is desirable.
  • Implementation of best practices and adherence to industry-standard software development lifecycle, including code reviews, test plans execution, and TDDs.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in D365 F&O development tools and technologies such as X++, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Power Platform, and LCS.
  • Experience with SSRS and/or X++ Reports.
  • Proficiency in C# .NET.
  • Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server, including stored procedures, functions, views, etc.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio Development Environment.
  • Experience with SSIS.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Application Performance Optimization skills including query optimization.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications like MB-300, MB-500, MB-700 are preferred.
