Rewards Manager

What would you be contributing to: 

  • Work closely with the Head of Rewards and wider leadership team in the design and implementation of Careem total reward programs and initiatives, and ensure appropriate local implementation in the context of global guidelines
  • Maintain a good pulse on market data and drive fit for purpose compensation structures to ensure competitiveness in alignment with our reward philosophy
  • Participate in the design and implementation of variable pay schemes, including ESOP and the administration of equity programs
  • Design and implement global benefits programs by assessing Careem’s needs, reviewing industry practices, and analyzing cost impact/effectiveness 
  • Participate in the implementation of performance management framework, and manage the pay review process across the organization
  • Design and develop training, education and communication materials for the implementation of global/ local reward programs
  • Work closely with business finance team to design and implement workforce planning process for the organization
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition Team and People Engagement Partners to advise and influence business leaders in compensation strategy, programs, and help to solve issues and mitigate risks 
  • Continuously evaluating and monitoring the effectiveness of existing compensation and benefit programs, ensuring they are fit for purpose, market competitive, cost effective, and aligned with Careem's strategy and Rewards philosophy

 

Requirement:

  • 5+ years working experience in Rewards related functions, and preferably with exposure to complex, international corporations
  • Advanced knowledge of fixed and variable pay practices
  • Working experience/ knowledge in equity plan management / administration is an advantage 
  • Proven excellent analytical skills, process oriented and a logical thinker with a strong attention to detail
  • Proven strong problem solving and decision-making skills, and ability to work with multiple stakeholders and work on tight deadlines
