Key Accountabilities:
● Develop product / solution pitch, and define its value proposition, for a new line of business
● Make a list of potential targets, deliver compelling presentations, and close partnerships
● Ensure successful execution and delivery of services with the right finops partnership
● Work closely with central finops, basecamp and mountain peak teams for planning, setting targets and influencing performance
● Support continuous improvement of planning processes and deliverables by working closely with functional leaders and other key stakeholders
● Assist in the development of scorecards, measurement tools and KPIs
● Monitor performance, highlight trends and analyse drivers of variances, and prepare monthly management reports
● Participate actively in special projects and lead improvement initiatives
● This role will report into the Senior Director of Finance & Regulatory Affairs, Careem Pay
Qualification and Experience:
● The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial and a generalist, with some depth in fin ops
● 8 or 10 years of blended consulting and finance experience
● MBA and / or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in finance. ACA / CPA / CFA / ACCA preferred
● Strong analytical skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team
● Outstanding communication and presentation skills, ability to translate and effectively communicate analytical data to non-technical professionals
● High business acumen, ability to understand and drive the line of business
● Ability to engage with all levels of the organization and collaborate cross-functionally
● Results oriented, strong organizational and time management skills with ability to multitask
● Expert in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
