About the role:

As Product Operations Lead, you will work closely with both product and market teams to streamline product and feature rollout processes and own key marketplace configurations within Careem


What you will do:

  1. Launch and expand our product offerings: Act as the key interface for product/feature launches to new cities and countries by executing pre-built roll-out checklists and collaborating closely with the relevant stakeholders within the Product and Market teams
  2. Rollout best practices: Help identify and rollout scalable and relevant best practices. Set-up knowledge share sessions between the markets
  3. Maintain templates: Maintain playbooks, onboarding and training programs for the different product/features available to the markets. Support in building new templates, documentation, and checklists for new product and feature launches
  4. Configurations expert: Understand the ins and outs of the different technical tools available in Careem and use them to solve real-world problems
  5. Develop relationships: Build and maintain relationships with a diverse group of people and cross-functional teams. Work closely the POCs of the different product categories to understand what's coming next and streamline roll-outs


What you'll need


The ideal candidate will have a passionate commitment to improving the lives of people, simplifying processes, an insane focus on excellence, attention to detail, and a strong alignment with our core values and purpose.

  • 3+ years of relevant and proven experience in tech, consulting, business intelligence, or product operations. Ideally coming from a start-up background
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with exposure to cross-functional and global teams. Very capable with both PowerPoint and Excel
  • Sophisticated analytical capabilities. Bonus points for technical ability in SQL
  • Experience in defining best practices, building launch checklists and playbooks. Comfortable with configuration tools and platforms
  • Balance attention to detail with swift execution - we need to do things quickly, and we need to do them well
  • A desire to learn, highly motivated self-starter, with an eagerness to learn and grow
