Roles & Responsibilities

  • Set up Last Mile Delivery operations for the business unit in KSA
  • Manage Last Mile delivery operations across KSA
  • Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency
  • Responsible for setting up the fleet strategy for First Mile, Middle Mile and Last Mile
  • Set up the policies or procedures for logistics activities
  • Create and maintain VSOP's for the driver and logistics assistants
  • Create cost per delivery visibility across the last mile team and plan improvements to reduce month on month
  • Build and maintain relationships with the suppliers of vehicles, manpower and 3PL's.Requirements
  • Ability to plan resources according to the forecasts
  • Ability to present weekly KPI's during the Weekly business review meetings

Skill Sets / Profile Requirements

 

  • Strong track-record of problem-solving, including structuring problems, performing detailed analysis, developing & implementing recommendations
  • Planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to challenge the norms and out of the box thinker
  • Influencing and interpersonal skills for driving results in cross-functional team setting
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal external customers
  • Ability to manage goal setting, tracking progress
  • Operational agility and nimbleness to adapt to changing retail environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 7 - 10 years of relevant experience with E-commerce logistics (preferably)

  • Success Rate – Overall, Prepaid, COD
  • FDDS
  • Cancellation rate
  • Cost / Delivery
  • LH Costs / Delivery
  • LM Costs / Delivery
