About the Role:

This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to shaping the vision and strategy of Careem. Captains form an integral part of Careem and are the key contributors to its success. This is aligned with Careem’s mission to simplify and improve the lives of our 1 M+ strong captain community.

The role will report into the Director of Captain Engagement and will be based in Dubai, UAE.

Responsibilities

  • Deeply understand our captains, our product, and our business strategies
  • Develop strategic acquisition, engagement and retention plans to drive growth at each step of the funnel
  • Lead captain incentive campaigns end-to-end from conception to defining objectives, execution, tracking, and reporting
  • Work in cross-functional teams with product, engineering and data science to tackle growth 
  • Innovate. Continuously test and optimize new strategies to maximize short and long term ROI
  • Think strategically, analytically, and creatively about new ways to engage captains and increase relevance

What You’ll Need

  • Minimum 6 years of experience of which 3+ in growth roles, ideally for an online marketplace or within the mobility industry. 
  • Proven track record driving growth across the customer lifecycle
  • Experience analyzing, interpreting, and leveraging data to make business decisions
  • Experience initiating and leading projects to completion with minimal guidance
  • Experience leveraging CRM platforms to deliver the right message, to the right user, at the right time, through the right channel
  • Ability to get hands-on in a complex operational environment, to manage and close the loop on multiple concurring tasks
  • Strong leadership skills to manage teams and influence key internal / external stakeholders
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, ability to deliver impactful presentations at all levels of the organization
  • Experience using Google Analytics, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms
  • BS or MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, Statistics or related quantitative field
