About the role

The Senior Manager Operating System & Organization Design will help designing, implementing, monitoring, and iterating a high-performing organizational operating system (OS) that (i) creates a productive work environment for colleagues, (ii) enables rapid and efficient growth, (iii) keeps all parts of the organization on strategy and on values and (iv) keeps Careem away from inefficiencies and culture loss which typically come with growing lightning fast from start-up to scaled-up. The role is part of the central OS unit located at our Basecamp (HQ) in Dubai.

Reporting - This role reports to the Chief of Staff

Responsibilities

  • Listen to the organization and obtain a deep understanding of the OS strengths and weaknesses
  • Analyze and prioritize biggest levers to drive increased productivity and efficiency of teams
  • Evolve the way we work at Careem by designing a self-learning OS
  • Implement OS related changes by leading change management initiatives
  • Lead cross functional projects to ensure the OS is living across the organization
  • Work directly with senior stakeholders of the organization to identify areas of improvement, drive change and have real impact on the day to day activities of the organization
  • Measure success of change and iterate initiative design to continuously raise the bar

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of distinctive work in delivering organizational change
  • Experience leading organizational change transformations
  • Exceptional people skills and ability to engage all levels of the organization
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate analysis into recommendations and action
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively work with and influence senior stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree (M.B.A. or advanced degree preferred)
  • Exceptional ability to work in cross functional teams
  • Willingness to travel regionally up to 50%
