About the Role 

We are looking for a sales professional to join our regional sales team as Sales Manager. This individual will drive the development and implementation of sales programs targeting prospective customers, current customers and other key contacts vital to generating sales opportunities. This person will be the central point of contact within their region and must be comfortable with ambiguously defined problems, challenges, and can balance thinking with tactical, detailed execution
Understanding the market requirements to define, position, adoption and expansion of market, this individual will be responsible for the successful execution of the company strategy. 
Key Responsibilities Include
  • Implement the sales roadmap
  • Hire, train and coach your team to implement the sales process.
  • Provide regular feedback to team members, and implement performance management plans.
  • Accurately forecast sales numbers and track against them on a daily basis using a CRM system
  • Manage a sign-up budget for restaurants and make day-to-day decisions on discounting commissions.
  • Manage the generation, segmentation and distribution of sales leads
  • Report sales numbers to leadership on a regular basis.
  • Develop and iterate incentives to continuously drive growth is sales numbers.
  • Work across departments such as Marketing, Account Management and Technology to drive initiatives for clients.
  • Attend high value meetings with your team as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in direct sales and business development with minimum 2 years of active account management
  • Coaching skills; ability to observe, evaluate, and give meaningful feedback
  • Data driven with strong analytical skills
  • Experience in the digital food arena 
  • Existing relationships with restaurants in your city
  • Superior oral/written communication & listening skills
  • Ability to solve problems and act quickly
