About the Job

We are looking for a to Head our Corporate Sales and Partnerships functions in Emerging Markets based in Dubai for Careem. You will be working closely with the Sales Director and the Managing Director to build a Sales and Partnerships strategy for the growth of our services. It’s a critical role for the success of Careem overall and has a huge impact on the current and new vertical growths. This role is regional and will lead a team across multiple geographies in Emerging Markets. This role will require travelling in the region.


Drive Careem’s brand, profile and proposition through Corporate sales and Partnerships in line with market participation strategy.
Create, implement and manage expansive and commercial Corporate sales strategy and management plan that delivers the growth targets.
Identify, secure and develop new profitable Corporate business throughout
Pro-actively seek out new business opportunities in the region and work towards achieving agreed new business targets
Segment new business opportunities in order to be able to focus efforts on short list of clients with profit potential
Establish and maintain account relationships and meet personal sales targets as agreed with the MD & Sales Director
Ensure outstanding representation and preparation at all significant Business Development meetings
Establish and build strong client relationships, delivering high-touch relationship management to all accounts
Ensure that all sales activities are completed in a compliant way, ensuring that the relevant governing bodies’ protocols are fulfilled
Deliver new and differentiated business growth opportunities on behalf of Careem Networks
Work as part of an effective global team in order to drive consistency across corporate sales

Qualifications required

10+ years of Sales background with transferable skills
Experience in handling small to large accounts and selling at Senior/Board Level.
Demonstrated track record in achieving new business targets and continually
demonstrating application in this key area
Business/commercial acumen on pricing/contract issues
Skill and ability to adopt a “consultative” approach to effect problem solving and to explore options which ensure potential within a client account is maximised for the benefit of Careem
Fluent understanding of risk and pricing strategy
Must ensure that tailored benefits offered to customers are not only suitable for a customer’s needs but can also be profitably and effectively administered by Careem
Proven ability to create and deliver compelling presentations and collateral to support business development meetings
Strong stakeholder management experience, with the ability to build and strengthen relationships at all levels
A track record of achieving and exceeding targeted business results/KPIs
Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation and influencing skills are required with emphasis on achieving results and successful outcomes
The ability to lead and grow a dynamic team
