Summary:
The Referral Center Assistant, working under the direction of the Referral Center Manager, ensures that patient referrals and admissions to Care Dimensions are handled appropriately and expeditiously and that all transactions are appropriately documented.
Responsible for verifying insurance benefits and coverage, data entry of prospective and admitted patients, completion and distribution of intake paperwork, handling all intake calls.
What you'll Bring:
High school diploma required, Associates Degree preferred.
Minimum one (1) to three (3) years’ work experience in a health care or medical office environment.
Proficiency in MS Office/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook and healthcare specific systems and databases required.
Professional and pleasant telephone manner.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and maturity.
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and the public, personally and by telephone.
