The Creative Studio at Cardlytics is looking for a Video Production Manager to join the team. You should be equal parts video strategist, producer, writer, and manager and will be the driving force behind the inspiration, conception, production, and deployment of our multimedia (audio/video) content; he/she/they will be also in charge of our brand-new multimedia production studio in Atlanta's HQ.

As a Video Production Manager your role includes:

Strategic responsibilities:

  • Distill stories to create clean, concise, and easy-to-understand videos
  • Collaborate closely with internal clients and stakeholders to facilitate the creation and buy-in of multimedia content
  • Take a metrics-driven approach to optimize content strategy

Production and directorial responsibilities:

  • Hands-on creation of multimedia (audio/video) content for customer stories, internal company announcement videos, external promotional social videos, product marketing videos, recruiting videos, podcasts and other enterprise-wide projects
  • Script, storyboard, budget, allocate resources, set deadlines, and select optimal forms of media for projects including podcasts and videos
  • Sourcing assets from internal materials and stock or arranging for primary or b-roll shooting
  • Scout, select and reserve shoot locations as needed
  • Operate video camera, lighting, photography.
  • Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending
  • Direct and coach talent
  • Oversee technology for monthly all-company meeting webcasts

Managing responsibilities:

  • Manage in-house recording studio, including maintenance and scheduling.
  • Work independently, as well as part of a team, to establish project deliverables.
  • Archive or catalog completed productions.
  • Keep up to date with multimedia trends.

Professional experience and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of professional experience in video, audio and post-production.
  • Portfolio and/or demo reel showcasing body of work.
  • Familiarity with professional cameras, prosumer camcorders, various HD and SD formats, preproduction/planning, studio and field production, lighting/grip, scriptwriting, storyboarding and photography.
  • Experience with small format mixers, compression, EQ, effects processors, audio recording techniques for studio and field, multi-track and waveform editing.
  • Post-production experience should include digital video and sound editing, still and motion graphics design, and video compression for multiple delivery platforms.
  • Customer facing video experience required, B2B experience a major plus.
