Role Summary

Cardlytics is seeking an Accounting Associate to join our Accounting team. This role will be part of a fast-paced organization and will ensure efficient, timely and accurate recording of financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of relevant experience and preferably prior experience with NetSuite and Salesforce.

You will:

  • Post day-to-day financial transactions including customer payments and bank deposits.
  • Monitor customer accounts for non-payment and assist with collections efforts
  • Provide customer service to clients and internal teams regarding billing issues
  • Prepare and distribute internal reports including those related to accounts receivables
  • Prepare and post journal entries
  • Month-end close activities, including P&L review and general ledger account reconciliations
  • Support internal and external audit efforts

You are:

  • A collaborator who will partner with internal organizational teams to deliver results  
  • Proven to show close attention to detail and display a high degree of accuracy
  • An effective communicator with a solution-oriented mindset and ability to work in a dynamic team environment
  • Extremely skilled in analyzing and quantifying financial data; showing strong financial acumen

You have experience in:

  • Interpreting complex models and forecasts and can translate results for any audience
  • A strong working knowledge of MS Excel is preferred
  • Relevant bookkeeping processes and working within NetSuite, Salesforce, Blackline are a plus
  • Thriving under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • A degree in Accounting or other relevant certification is preferred
