About the Job 

The Vice President of Practice Operations will play an instrumental role in the onboarding and management of our New Hampshire physician practice onto our platform, as well as network development efforts within a market.   

In this role, you’ll be responsible for our New Hampshire cardiology practice, driving performance across a variety of areas within the practice and be the go-to resource for physician practice owners and their staff.  You will be responsible for driving financial, operations, and quality metrics. This role will also help lead, manage and support a team of local market operators within the practice, including developing and executing strategies to enhance CardioOne’s market presence by, engaging with potential practice partners, driving revenue and new patient growth for existing partners, and building relationships with key payors. As part of a lean startup team, we’re looking for individuals who are comfortable being a player-coach, self-starters, scrappy, can manage ambiguity, and are ready to grow within a hyper-growth organization.  This role will work in our Manchester, New Hampshire office and report directly to the Senior Vice President of Operations.  

What you’ll do: 

  • Account owner for the cardiology practice in New Hampshire 
  • Help build out the new practice from the ground up 
  • Responsible for hiring and staffing efforts in conjunction with the Director of Talent Acquisition 
  • Providers leadership and ownership, over all revenue cycle management functions  
  • Integration and operation of the practice into the CardioOne platform, executing against individual practice goals with optimization efforts  
  • Manage and lead a team of clinical and operational staff to run day to day operations of the practice 
  • Create and facilitate a playbook of scalable practice optimization plans   
  • Influence and drive change management strategies within the practice to implement efficient workflow and operating procedures to enhance practice performance/KPIs  
  • Work and be responsible for metrics across a variety of practice areas, including but not limited to: revenue cycle, credentialing, clinical performance, practice optimization, growth, strategy, etc.   
  • Develop PowerPoint presentation materials that facilitate the communication and dissemination of strategic and operational goals   
  • Manage and track performance metrics related to revenue cycle management, operations, clinical efficiency, productivity, clinical quality and outcomes, value-based care initiatives, etc.   
  • Responsible for market and network development efforts including building relationships in market with prospective partners, primary care groups, payers and other key market players  
  • Drives development of new programs and services based on market needs  

What you’ll need: 

  • MBA/MHA highly preferred   
  • 10+ years of healthcare operations experience in a provider or medical group setting is required; previous leadership experience managing a team required   
  • Experience in Cardiology is preferred  
  • Proven track record of developing strong market relationships with payers and/or clinicians with measurable outcomes  
  • Advanced knowledge and technical skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint  
  • Delivering data, reporting and analyses to clinicians, by using and understanding key physician practice KPIs   
  • Experience with project management tools    
  • Ability to be a generalist and assist across a variety of job functions   

Work Location: 

You will work out of Manchester, New Hampshire location. Minimal travel for corporate strategy and operational meetings 

Additional Information 

Full-time base salary range of $170,000 to $190,000 plus medical, dental, and vision. This role will have an incentive bonus.
