We work with some of the world's most ambitious climate leaders such as Microsoft, Swiss Re, and the World Economic Forum First Movers Coalition.

Your role & responsibilities 

The carbon removal market is a new, dynamic, and fast-growing market. We are looking for a committed and curious legal assistant with a keen interest in contract law, international aspects, and labor law to join our team and help set new (contract) standards in the market. The position requires a time flexibility of at least 25 hours per week, spread over four to five working days. Flexibility is appreciated to effectively handle time-critical tasks. The position can be performed remotely from any location in Germany. As part of the COO division, you will report directly to Lucie Haß, COO. 

What you'll do

  • Handle all types of contracts with a particular focus on challenging and critical clauses. 
  • Conduct in-depth analysis and solve complex legal issues in the field of international law. 
  • Advice on employment law matters. 
  • Ensure compliance standards at both German and Swiss law. 

What you bring to the table  

  • You have completed your first law exam. 
  • You are native German speaker and have a great command of English. 
  • You are interested in international legal issues and labor law. 
  • You have a willingness to familiarise yourself with new issues and legal systems. 
  • You are an outstanding organizational talent, you love to work independently and in a structured manner.
