As an intern with the Software QA team, you will help ensure excellent quality of Carbon’s diverse and complex software products, which range from our design and manufacturing tools to the 3D printer itself. You will gain a diverse set of skills and experiences with opportunities to learn about our products, test hands-on with a cross functional team, improve our processes, and develop a holistic approach to quality.

Role is based in our Redwood City, CA US headquarters office.

You will...

  • Assist in executing testing and finding bugs in our web application and hardware products
  • Assess risk, develop test strategies, and execute test plans around new features by collaborating with developers, designers, and product managers
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
  • Help improve engineering and testing efficiency by defining better processes and best practices

You have...

  • Intentions to graduate in 2025 or 2026 with an undergraduate Engineering degree
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to learn new skills and find ways to break software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and are able to work collaboratively and independently
  • Incredibly methodical and detail-oriented mindset 
  • Willingness to do hands-on testing

At Carbon, we look at the person holistically and carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation.  The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00 per hour.  Your actual hourly pay will be based on your experience, work location, certifications and the unique skills you bring to the role.
