Human Interest is a Y Combinator-backed company that offers an easy and affordable 401(k) retirement plan for the modern workforce. Current 401(k) solutions for small businesses are built on legacy software, involve physical paper forms, and are sold with kickbacks to financial advisors whose interests are misaligned with the financial well-being of their clients.  We've built an automated, paperless 401(k) that makes it possible for small businesses to offer a 401(k) benefit to their employees

Why Sales @ Human Interest?

Joining our small but growing Partnerships team means you'll be a stakeholder in building out our Partnerships strategy — a key initiative for the company this year. We're looking for a process-driven, meticulously organized, and self-motivated professional who loves to win. You'll be managing key Partner relationships to help us exponentially reach more small businesses across the United States.

  • You will be a part of the team that's driving growth for the company to deliver on our mission to help people achieve a secure financial future
  • You will be given autonomy to execute in sales excellence to improve our growth metrics

What You Get To Do Every Day:

  • Own lead generation through managing our existing partnership relationships
  • Travel domestically to meet with existing partners for ongoing trainings, meeting with Individual Contributors, and events
  • Collaborate with multiple departments across the company to enhance our product functionality
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of our nascent Partnerships strategy

What You Bring To The Role:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience (Business development and partnerships, HR-Tech, Benefit Brokers)
  • 2+ years of closing experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional skills – you have the ability to think and communicate creatively, thoughtfully, and on your feet with diverse technical and non-technical team members
  • Strategic thinker and tactical executor – able to shift from big picture to detailed operations quickly and effectively

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience working “as” or “with” benefits brokers
  • Technically savvy and familiarity using Salesforce to manage sales cycles
