About the Role:

 

Coordinates Pharmacy Inventory levels by ordering pharmaceuticals through direct accounts, vendors, and suppliers. Performs special studies and inventory related projects. Provide fast and reliable procurement and inventory support. You will answer inquiries about inventory availability and assist in ordering and tracking daily inventory orders.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the uninterrupted flow of products to assigned pharmacy locations through appropriate purchasing procedures
  • Review the inventory and purchasing needs on a daily basis
  • Coordinate resolution of all inventory order problems (i.e. back orders, manufacturer outs).
  • Participate in the monitoring and accuracy of all physical inventories.
  • Periodically coordinate review of inventory for expired, damaged, or overstocked medications.
  • May assist in processing recall notices when necessary and coordinate removal of product from shelves
  • Retrieve notices from patients and separate notices for proper return
  • Orders replacement/alternate products as indicated
  • Assist in answering any inventory related questions from all teams across the Company.
  • Contribute in the daily use and weekly maintenance of the Parata Dispensing Machine.
  • Ensure and maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Comply with local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and policies
  • Assists with other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED is required
  • 1+ year of pharmacy experience or relevant pharmacy inventory experience
  • Licensed/PTCB pharmacy technician preferred
  • Strong organizational skills to accomplish goals with limited time and changing priorities
  • Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Problem-solving skills to resolve issues with orders, invoice payments, etc.
  • Ability to complete work in a timely and efficient manner
  • Proficient in G Suite or MS Office
  • Customer service oriented mindset
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Vendor coordination and service level management experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and be flexible
