About the Role:
Our Logistics Operations team goal is to provide a timely, seamless and frictionless delivery experience to our customers. The Logistics Manager will be at the front lines of Capsule’s mission to build a better, nicer, kinder, smarter pharmacy to make life simpler and healthier for everyone. You will be ensuring medication is delivered on time to our customers in a professional manner.
- Recruit, coach, mentor and develop a high performing courier workforce
- Plan, schedule and manage a courier workforce to provide a same-day delivery offering
- Maximize labor efficiency through proper staffing and schedule management
- Responsible for last mile route planning to achieve delivery productivity goals
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive system and operational improvements to drive delivery efficiencies
- Provide a positive customer experience by maximizing on-time delivery
- Drive quality initiatives and reduce process defects to achieve best in class performance
- Support process change initiatives; enable the team to meet and exceed business plans

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- 2-3 years experience directly managing a team in operations, experience in last mile delivery highly preferred
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changes
- Strong leadership, collaboration and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to deep-dive when necessary
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
Bonus Points:
- Fluency in Spanish (able to speak, read, and write) highly preferred
