About the Role:
The Business Insights team is responsible for ensuring Capsule’s leadership has the information they need to make the right decisions. Using quantitative and qualitative methods, we dive into the key questions confronting the business to highlight opportunities for growth and support strategic planning across the organization. In your role as a Senior Business Insights Manager, your main focus will be supporting our ever growing operations team as the go-to data guru. You’ll be a strategic thought partner for both the product and operational leaders as we tackle some of the toughest pharmacy fulfillment operations challenges. This role will partner with both the Product and Logistics teams to enable the teams’ best work.
- Drive and influence strategic projects that are essential to Capsule’s continued growth in the operations team by leveraging deep understanding of data and process.
- Synthesize and present KPIs and trends to the operations leadership team on a regular basis, identifying opportunities and challenges and developing ideas to improve the business.
- Support strategic planning through thoughtful analysis of how the business is performing and why
- Compile and curate data sources to enable self-service reporting for the operations team.
- Make recommendations on strategy based on fulfillment or shortfall of KPIs.
- Build reports and dashboards to enable the teams to identify trends and insights in the data.

Requirements:
- You have 5-8 years experience in an analytics, consulting, or finance role, ideally reporting KPIs and trends to executives and diving into the drivers of performance.
- You possess excellent communication skills and the ability to succinctly distill complex analyses into high level insights; you’ll report on the health of the business to stakeholders at all levels.
- You are organized and have a high level of attention to detail; you’ll create and manage reporting on dozens of KPIs and metrics based on a vast and not-always-clean dataset.
- You have the ability to operate independently; you’ll spot trends before they’re apparent to others and make recommendations to ensure metrics continue to trend in the right direction.
- You are an expert with SQL and Excel and have experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau or PowerBI
