For this role specifically, we are seeking individuals to help support high-impact, civic tech within the federal government.
As an integral part of the program, the DevOps Engineer will design and implement prototypes and/or proof-of-concepts for evaluating new or emerging technologies, analyze benefits and risks in implementing solutions using the new technologies, and provide development support with adoption of the new technologies within a project.
The DevOps Engineer will work closely with other teams to help us build functional systems that improve customer experience. Responsibilities include deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet customer needs. If you have a solid background in software engineering and Docker/Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, Terraform, AWS (or related cloud environments) - we'd love to chat with you.

Responsibilities
- Manage cloud Infrastructure-as-Code
- Develop, automate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Perform root cause analysis for production errors
- Investigate and resolve technical issues
- Develop automation scripts
- Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
- May mentor and supervise software developers.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree
- 5-6 years of experience
- Strong knowledge of Git, Docker/Kubernetes, Linux, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working within a cloud environment (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL
- Problem-solving attitude
- Must be able to get up-to-speed quickly on new projects and technologies
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Salary Information
We are committed to offering a competitive salary for this position, with an estimated range of $125k to $155k annually. Please note that this range is intended to provide a general idea of what to expect. The final offer may vary based on experience, skills, and other factors.
