Running a business is hard, we make it easier. We provide an all-in-one business credit card & spend management platform, built for SMEs. Over 200,000 small businesses have spent more than £8 billion on their Capital on Tap Business Credit Cards.

The Role

We are looking for a FinCrime Officer to join our growing FinCrime team. You will support the Global FinCrime Team in onboarding new customers to the business and reviewing AML risks. This role is the first step in a FinCrime career and is a great fit for you if you have strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. The role will involve evening and weekend shifts to give the best service possible to our global customer base. The shifts will be 9am-5:30pm Monday - Sunday and will also include evening shifts which will be 12pm-8:30pm. Whilst in your training, you'll be required to be on-site 5 days a week. After training and once competent in the role, the requirement will be 3 days in the office and 2 working from home.

We're ideally looking for FinCrime Officers with experience however, if you don't have the experience but have the willingness to learn then we want to hear from you. We'll onboard you as our Junior FinCrime Officer to start and we will provide you with the tools, and training to help you progress within your role.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct KYC and KYB checks as part of our customer due diligence requirements

  • Sound judgment and confidence to make independent decisions on potential unusual activity or PEP/Sanction matches
  • Ability to assess referred cases to ensure minimal inconvenience to the customer while preventing monetary and reputational loss to the company

What do we require

  • You should have a critical eye and strong attention to detail. You should enjoy working efficiently and in a demanding, high volume environment.
