About the role

As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will play a pivotal role implementing core functionalities of CapIntel’s products and services. You will work closely with a collaborative team of developers, designers, and product managers and will contribute to the scalability, efficiency, and robustness of our platform. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our user interface seamlessly integrates with backend services, meeting and exceeding user expectations. Your insights into UI best practices, design architecture, and scalable solutions will be crucial in propelling our platform to greater success and user engagement. 

What you'll do

Technical Expertise and Development: 

  • Possess extensive professional experience as a full-stack or front-end developer, with a strong background in Javascript/Typescript web framework. 
  • Showcase expertise in front-end technologies, with extensive experience in developing dynamic and responsive web interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks and CSS pre-processors. 
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code, ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. 

Quality Assurance and Performance: 

  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, employing techniques such as lazy loading, code splitting, and efficient state management. 
  • Implement comprehensive frontend testing strategies using tools like Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium to ensure application reliability and usability. 

Collaboration and Communication: 

  • Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs and support QA processes, engaging in effective testing and validation of developed solutions. 
  • Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless, end-to-end functionality of the application. 
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, technologies, and methodologies, staying updated with modern technologies and best practices to enhance the development lifecycle. 

Leadership and Mentorship: 

  • Take on a mentorship role for Junior and Intermediate Engineers, guiding them in their technical development and assisting in overcoming challenges. 
  • Lead by example in technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and growth within the team. 

Continuous Learning and Innovation: 

  • Stay abreast of the latest frontend technologies and frameworks, advocating for their adoption where they can improve the product's performance or development workflow. 
  • Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards through regular code reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices in software development. 

Qualifications

  • Several years of professional experience as a full-stack or front-end developer. 
  • Several years of professional experience with a modern JavaScript/Typescript web framework; 
  • Experience working with MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express, ReactJS, Node.js)  
  • Experience working with large cloud platforms such as AWS. 
  • Knowledge of and practical experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines. 
  • Experience in writing comprehensive automated tests, ensuring the reliability and integrity of the application. 

Bonus experience

  • Experience with T3 Tech Stack (Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS);  
  • Experience with Relational Databases (MySql, PgSql); 
  • Experience with performance and optimization problems and a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent these problems. 
  • Demonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical, architectural and propose thorough iterative solutions.
