Project Overview:
We are seeking a Senior QA Tester with 8+ years of experience in the banking/insurance sector, specializing in Investment Banking Trading & Risk Management. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex financial systems, ensuring software quality through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Testing Leads to define requirements and test cases.
- Execute manual and automated tests, ensuring software meets business objectives.
- Support UAT and integration testing, reporting on bugs, risks, and test status.
- Apply industry best practices for testing, quality assurance, and process improvement.
Tech stack :
- Knowledge of REST and SOAP-based web services standards and messaging models.
- Strong understanding of and experience with JSON, XML, and HTTP.
- Experienced in API testing.
- Hands-on working experience in SQL, Unix scripting, and Git.
- Proficiency in collaboration tools like Atlassian Confluence, JIRA, ADO, and Microsoft Office suite.
Requirements :
- 8+ years in software testing, preferably in the banking/insurance sector.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment..
- Proven experience in automated and manual testing of complex financial systems.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex, multi-system environments.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders and team members.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk-based testing strategies.
