Job Description:
Reconciliation Functional Testing
8-10 Years of Functional testing experience
- High Level requirement is to perform functional testing of the reconciliation rules in reconciliation tool, data analysis and highlighting issues and bugs in case the expected functionality doesn’t works Good with Financial Markets Banking Domain knowledge
- Good understanding of the various testing concepts, test case preparation, application functional testing and execution Good Knowledge on the Agile concepts, Scrum, JIRA dashboards and Delivery Good knowledge of the Capital Markets and life cycle of various Asset classes Managing Several stakeholder, Good Communication and Presentation skills
- Gather requirements and translating them to User Stories Good understanding of the python programming which is required for the data analysis and simulating functional test cases Good with SQL, writing medium to complex PL SQL queries for the Data Analysis
- Basically the requirement is to improve the Data Quality check on the Counterparty credit Risk system. o
- Credit system receives Trade details from upstream OB systems, which is a source system for Trade Data. o
- Trade details captured in this system with required validation checks. o Reconciliations Platform (In house developed tool for reconciliations):
- Reconciliation is performed with Trade details from Counterparty system and Trade details from Source OB systems.
- Matched/unmatched / Valid exclusions etc. reports are generated and shared with ops users from reconciliation system
- BI Tool Tableau is currently being used for reconciliation reports. In future plan is to use direct CSV reports. (no more Tableau)
- Technical Stack:

- Core Java, Spring boot and Microservices
- DB: Postgres
- Supports heterogenous input types like XML, CVS etc.
