Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- To manage the day to day running of the ETD & OTC Reconciliation team within Futures Operations. Which includes, Daily trade/position/cash reconciliations of internal systems to Exchanges/CCPs/Clearing Brokers.
- To ensure data integrity of inter-systems front to back, includes accuracy of data feeding to the Finance department.
- Managerial oversight of reconciliation workflow to ensure completion, accuracy, control and adherence to SLA, using appropriate daily and weekly checklists and timely management escalation when required. The job requires oversight of multiple balance sheets (HBEU/HBCE/HBAP/HSI)
- The role requires strong data analysis and planning skills to drive automation and reduce manual touch points and flag potential risk in the reconciliation process. One of the major causes of reconciliation breaks is incorrect fee setup. Ongoing analysis is needed to identify all reconciliation breaks and manage a book of work to correct upstream errors and reduce breaks by partnering with Trade Capture and Static Data function to drive efficiency.
- The role requires the role holder to be conversant with Clearing systems architecture and trade and reconciliation flows; have excellent communication skills and be always agile and responsive.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Ideally having 3-5 years’ experience related to trade processing of Exchange Traded Derivatives at a top tier broker or Investment Bank
- Exposure to Clearvision trade processing/matching
- Exposure to R&N’s operating platform or simlar product
