ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Senior Third-Party Risk Specialist will play a key role in ensuring robust Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) as part of the broader Enterprise Risk Management framework. This role involves working across multiple operational risk disciplines, with a focus on assessing and aligning local requirements with global policies. The successful candidate will drive the design, implementation, and governance of third-party risk strategies while ensuring compliance with local regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluate existing local policy addendums and procedures to align with global policies for all third-party types.
- Collaborate with local Risk Stewards to socialize the roll-out plan and establish timelines for execution.
- Identify any regulatory changes in local markets that may impact roll-out strategies.
- Partner with local Risk Stewards to review and challenge local regulatory requirements against the global design.
- Ensure efficient implementation of requirements to meet local law and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with Risk Stewards to finalize local policy addendums and update related procedures.
- Support communication and training efforts to educate teams on policy and procedural changes.
- Provide regular updates on program progress to the PMO and stakeholders.
- Facilitate governance updates for global and local TPR teams regarding the roll-out program.
KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- In-depth understanding of operational and enterprise risk disciplines with expertise in third-party risk management.
- Proven experience in interpreting and applying regulatory requirements to risk management frameworks and policy design.
- Ability to drive organizational change and collaborate effectively at all levels.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse stakeholder groups.
- Demonstrated resilience, adaptability, and problem-solving capabilities in high-pressure situations.
