Consultant – [Informatica Admin or BI Admin] and Prod Support Engineer:
Responsibilities:
Informatica Admin/Support
• Provide Informatica PowerCenter Administration
o Version upgrade activities – right from lower environment to production
o User management – access provisioning/revoking
o Deployments and
o Admin related support
 cache/space issue
 job failure analysis
 services monitoring and support
• Provide Level 2/3 support to ETL based Data Warehousing projects.
OR
BI Admin/Supprt
Qlik Administration:
• Manage Qlik Sense and QlikView environments, including installations, configurations, and performance tuning.
• Monitor system health, ensure availability, and provide troubleshooting for issues related to data models, load scripts, and dashboard performance.
• Manage security settings, user access, and permissions within Qlik environments.
• Apply patches, upgrades, and service packs to maintain a stable environment.
Application Support:
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for production applications, resolving issues related to Qlik applications, including data discrepancies and performance issues.
• Coordinate with development teams to address bugs, data issues, and functional enhancements within Qlik applications.
• Troubleshoot and debug Qlik app performance issues, including load times, data refresh, and scalability challenges.
• Collaborate with data teams to ensure accurate data loads and seamless integration between source systems and Qlik platforms.
• Create and maintain documentation for troubleshooting, processes, and application-specific procedures.
 
• Manage the minor enhancement requests as prioritized by business and deploy into production following the Change management cycle.
• Work on service requests using the Incident / Problem / Service management workflow, raised by business users and provide resolution.
• Work closely with SME's on any such requests as per the needs.
• Work independently and represent status on different tasks with SME’s.
• Implement methods for continually improving the support systems/processes.
• Provide application and system monitoring
• Handle Change Management
• Provide release management services
• Perform fail-over and manage disaster recovery activities.
Skills:
Experience with
• Production Support / SRE (Min 4 years of experience, adjust as payroll/grade) and Informatica PowerCenter Administration (min 2 years experience) or Qlik administration and application support (Qlik Sense and/or QlikView).
• Scripting (Unix/Linux, Shell Scripting, Perl)
• Various RDBMS (Oracle, MS SQL Server etc)
• Batch Job Schedulers (TWS or equivalent)
• ServiceNow or other ticketing tool
• Capital Market or Financial Services Industry
 
Other Requirements:
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Able to function effectively as a member of a team.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Collaborate with various individuals/teams to find resolution to the problem.
• Willing to learn
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or Engineering or any other relevant technical skills.
Nice To have:
• Cloud Experience -AWS/Azure, AWS S3
• RPA UI Path
• DevOps
 

Key Skills: Production Support, Database application development experience (Oracle, SQL Server etc.), DevOps SME, Knowledge of Cloud – AWS, Azure and Snowflake
