ROLE OVERVIEW: 

We are looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst with deep expertise in Collateral Management within the context of liquidity and funding. This role involves providing support for the Bank’s liquidity measures, including LCR, NSFR, and PRA110, as well as ensuring alignment with key financial and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing data solutions using tools like Tableau and Python, and will have a strong understanding of financial products, fixed income, and equity. This position requires strong independent work, collaboration with stakeholders, and effective communication to senior management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and manage data visualization solutions using Tableau, with a focus on advanced calculations and dashboard design.
  • Use Python for data manipulation and analysis to support liquidity and collateral management initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with key liquidity measures (ILM, LCR, NSFR, PRA110), and other secondary metrics in line with the Group Framework.
  • Manage offshore resources and work closely with internal stakeholders to align on project delivery and key initiatives.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on collateral management, focusing on funding and liquidity strategy.
  • Support Treasury department objectives by providing analysis on fixed income, equity products, and other relevant financial instruments.
  • Draft reports and presentations for senior management forums, contributing to strategic decision-making processes.
  • Handle conflicting priorities and manage time effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
    • At least 5 years of experience in a business analyst or liquidity management role, ideally within a major financial institution.
  • Data Experience:

    • Proficiency with Tableau desktop/server, with experience in building dashboards and performing advanced calculations.
    • Python experience for data manipulation and analysis.
    • Understanding of permissioning and row-level security in data management.
  • Subject Matter Expertise:

    • Strong knowledge of collateral management, liquidity, and funding operations.
    • Familiarity with key liquidity measures like LCR, NSFR, ILM, and PRA110.
    • Experience in Treasury functions, particularly in liquidity management within financial institutions.
    • Comprehensive understanding of fixed income and equity financial products.
  • Soft Skills:

    • Self-starter with a proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
    • Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Strategic thinking with a strong understanding of the financial services industry.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, demonstrating resilience and cultural awareness.
