Role Description
-
This role provides business analysis for Global Banking Operations.
It requires detailed analysis, review and documentation of all or part of a business in terms of business functions and processes in order to document the business requirements which are to be delivered by the technology team.
The BA will manage the requirement development process for a transformation project through elicitation, analysis, specification and verification of multiple levels of requirements (business, stakeholder, solution).
The BA will be part of a larger pool of offshore and onshore business analysis teams.
Writing EPICs and User Stories capturing requirements (business, user and solution) and establishing traceability to the business vision
- Managing the requirements from initiation to closure by working closely with business stakeholders and technology delivery teams
- Ensuring requirements are specified in a manner suitable for the intended audience and are understandable and unambiguous Business
- Support Product Owners in all PO deliverables
- Provide UAT support for releases
- Create business value through the solution proposed and implemented
- Proactively suggest process and system improvements which create sustainable business value
- Ensure defect free requirements through use of comprehensive and rigorous requirement elicitation techniques
- Adhere to change management standards and procedures Processes:
- Obtaining stakeholder buy-in and signoff on requirements
- Meeting stakeholder need and project budget/time constraints
- Playing a critical communications role by interacting with the user (business domain) and with the technology teams
- Stakeholder identification, analysis and management
- Lead discussion with the project team to clearly identify results needed to achieve business goals and needs People and Talent
- Effectively manages relevant business stakeholders across the end-to-end Client Lifecycle, including Relationship Managers, Client Managers, Product Teams, IMO, CET, CLM Ops, FM Ops, Regional Change Delivery teams, IT Delivery Teams, Project Managers
- Policy Implementation and Regulatory Implementation
- Regional and Local Change Champions Must Have:
- Hand-on experience working on JIRA/ADO
- Hands-on individual contributor with an eye for detail and a proactive, self-managed working style • Ability to take initiative, identify opportunities and work with minimal management oversight to drive the best outcome possible
- Excellent written, communication and presentation skills; able to effectively engage, influence and manage senior business stakeholders Knowledge / Skills / Experience Required:
- Graduate (10+2+3)/MBA (optional)
- 5 + years of hands-on experience in requirement gathering, writing user story and stakeholder management
- Experience of working in a collaborative, global team
- Should have knowledge of Investment banking operations
- Strong experience in Client lifecycle
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Business analysis certification (preferred)
- Agile experience (preferred)
- End to end client life cycle management experience (preferred)
- CDD/KYC knowledge
