We at Capco do pure play financial services consulting. The ability to effectively manage treasury risk is crucial for financial services organizations.  In order to grow our team in treasury and financial risk management we are looking for Senior Consultant / Consultant (Treasury)

 

YOUR CAPCO DAY:

  • Treasury and Financial Risk Management in Banks and other financial service companies: Help our clients in mitigating financial risks, including risk associated with liquidity, investments, foreign exchange (FX), interest rate (IR) exposures, and payments. Main responsibilities include risks identification, assessment, evaluation including scenario analysis/ stress testing, response strategies, and reporting. Please also expect exposure to key stakeholders and adequate (project) management and presentation skills.
  • Balance Sheet Management / ALM: Help our clients in Balance Sheet Management covering leading transfer pricing methods, including ALM forecasting and budgeting to meet banks’ budgeting, planning, and forecasting needs.
  • Treasury and Financial Risk Management Systems: Improve the client treasury management of existing or implementation of new treasury management systems (e.g. FIS, SAP, ITS/ION etc).  
  • Advanced Data Analytics and Reporting: Use and leverage advanced Excel, Python, or similar software to gain relevant data insights
  • Project Management and Client Engagement: Manage project timelines, scope and budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery. Coordinate with stakeholders to align project objectives, overall status and mitigate risks. Provide expert advice, maintain strong client relationships, and deliver presentations and reports
  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Work closely with other consultants and practice areas to deliver comprehensive solutions. Mentor junior team members and participate in internal knowledge-sharing sessions

 

YOUR CAPCO FIT:

  • Experience & Knowledge: 3+ years in banking or consulting, with a strong understanding of (bank-) treasury, balance sheet management, funding, liquidity, treasury operations, financial risk management and process design. Proven experience in delivering high quality results in the respective area. Additional skills in related areas of Finance are strongly welcomed.
  • Skills & Abilities: Excellent analytical and data analysis skills, with the ability to translate this in a structured way to (senior) management, along with strong communication and presentation abilities. Proficient in project management and business analysis tools, with the ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Education & Certifications: Master’s degree in Business, Business Mathematics, Finance, Financial Risk Management, or a related field. Relevant additional certifications in risk management, finance or treasury are a clear plus
  • Personal Attributes: Strong client-focused approach with high attention to detail. Motivated to deliver value. High integrity, adaptability, and a proactive, self-motivated attitude
  • Cultural Fit: Alignment with Capco’s values and enthusiasm for consultancy work and provide value for clients. Willingness to travel, work on-site with clients as required, and commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace
  • Requirements: Excellent communication skills in German and English is an absolute must and you need to be eligible to work in Switzerland
