KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan, design, debug, and develop software solutions for Java applications.
Create Java-based software adhering to industry best practices.
Write and implement efficient, reusable Java code.
Test software to ensure it meets specifications and performs effectively.
Provide technical assistance to software users.
Diagnose and resolve software issues.
Collaborate with software engineers to maintain high code quality.
Work alongside product managers and designers to ensure user-centric software design.
Identify areas for improvement in existing Java code.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in Java development.
Comprehensive knowledge of Java and Java EE.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team.
Familiarity with hardware and operating systems, especially Unix-based ones.
Understanding of relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2).
Experience with Agile methodologies and application/web servers.
