One of our prominent banking clients is seeking a contract Business Analyst with robust experience in the Commercial Banking/Financial Services sector, coupled with a deep understanding of credit and lending products and processes. This role is integral to an upcoming project aimed at enhancing the bank's commercial banking services, which cater to a diverse range of businesses from small enterprises to large corporations.
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Utilize your expertise in lending to gather, develop, and document requirements.
- Define current (As-Is) and future (To-Be) process flows, conduct gap analysis, and gather business requirements for stakeholder approval.
- Support business teams by answering questions, clarifying requirements, and resolving issues during the design and development phases.
- Provide domain support to development teams, focusing on core lending-specific requirements.
- Ensure all deliverables meet high-quality standards.
- Interact with senior management and executive teams across the first and second lines of defense (1LOD and 2LOD).
- Lead business and project review meetings.
- Collaborate with delivery and implementation teams to provide domain inputs and ensure the proposed solutions are effectively implemented.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience in commercial lending and credit processes within the financial services sector.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in process mapping and business requirements documentation.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to act as a liaison between business and IT teams.
- Deep understanding of lending products, credit processes, and the applicable regulatory environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards in all deliverables.
- Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at various levels of seniority.
- Strong leadership and facilitation skills with experience in leading project review meetings.
- Experience in project management and a track record of successful solution delivery and implementation.
