A global bank is seeking a skilled partner to ensure effective program execution, provide testing support, and manage remediation for its Affiliate Risk Management Program. Capco will embed resources within the Task Force to support the review and testing of controls focusing on sanctions and anti-money laundering (AML), as well as address gaps for key US Dollar clearing affiliates.
THINGS YOU WILL DO:
- Implement and maintain comprehensive OFAC sanctions controls frameworks within large, complex FBOs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assess and manage sanctions risks related to 1LOD controls, such as KYC, CDD, and EDD, ensuring robust risk mitigation strategies are in place.
- Conduct thorough audits and reviews of OFAC requirements and existing sanctions controls frameworks, including controls testing to ensure efficacy and compliance.
- Identify and remediate compliance and control gaps.
- Collaborate closely with Task Force members to meet regulatory requirements.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels of seniority, providing clear and concise reports, updates, and recommendations on sanctions compliance and risk management.
- Enhance risk management processes through effective remediation efforts.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- Extensive knowledge of OFAC requirements and practical sanctions controls framework implementation in large, complex FBOs
- Understanding of sanctions risks related to 1LOD controls, such as KYC/CDD/EDD
- Experience in auditing/reviewing OFAC requirements, sanctions controls framework implementation, and controls testing
- Exceptional writing and communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills with great attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at various seniority levels
- Experience in reviewing, drafting, and revising policies, procedures, and training materials
- Understanding of sanctions risks and appropriate mitigating controls
- Knowledge of TF or TxF systems implementation, testing, and basic data trace/data lineage
- Familiarity with payment processing systems and transaction screening/static data screening systems
- Ability to evaluate risks associated with correspondent banking activity
- CGSS and ACAMs certification preferred
