PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT (MOBILE APPLICATION CAPABILITY LEAD) - DIGITAL ENGINEERING

Experience : 14+ yrs of strong technology and delivery with development skills

As a Principal Consultant in Digital Engineering at you will:

Demonstrate practical experience of engineering best practices, while being obsessed with continuous improvement.

Have deep technical knowledge of mobile technologies (iOS+Android+Tablet) and is curious to learn other parts of the stack.

Have personally made valuable contributions to products, solutions and teams and can articulate the value to customers.

Have played a role in the delivery of critical business applications and ideally customer facing applications.

Have the ability to communicate complex ideas to non-experts with eloquence and confidence.

Have an awareness and understanding of new technologies being used in finance and other industries and loves to experiment.

Have a passion for setting up a capability on mobile technology and build a team for demonstrating the capability.

Skills & Expertise

  • Possess very strong skills in developing mobile applications – native as well as hybrid for iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin/Java). Should be able to understand development approach for hybrid applications (ReactJS/Flutter) for coding once and deploying on multiple platforms.
  • Deep skills in defining the architecture for mobile apps for the newer version of the platform operating systems. Should be familiar with the industry best practices and should be able to showcase them as necessary on projects and opportunities being supported.
  • Should have a flair for UX design along with mobile development skills to present the user journey that the application feature will fulfil.
  • Strong development skills covering code configuration and package creation for deployment.   

Specific expectations from this role

You will need to set up and build a technical pool of people skilled in mobile application development who can be deployed to various engagements.  You will be involved in setting up the mobile COE at Capco India similar to our other regional offices.

You will be involved in providing solution definition on the numerous opportunities that need mobile app solution to be developed.  You will be estimating the effort needed to implement and deliver the solution together with identifying the risks and mitigation steps.

You will need to build and develop a few mobile assets with a small team to showcase the capabilities that can be provided to potential clients.

Interactions with the industry institutions and social forums actively involved in mobile app technology is something that you will be participating in as well as driving Capco India’s representation in such forums.

You will work on engaging projects with some of the largest banks in the world, on projects that will transform the financial services industry.

You’ll be involved in digital mobile transformation processes through a continuous delivery model, fully hands on coding, client facing and team leader.
