Responsibilities • Influence strategy and shape the programme,
• Drive programme delivery proactively.
• Lead definition of staffing, responsibilities and schedules.
• Establish effective programme controls and procedures.
• Set high expectations concerning quality and put in place quality assurance processes.
• Report progress, issues, dependencies and risks to steering
• Provide visible leadership to maintain a focus on how the programme aligns to the change portfolio across HSBC.
• Drive the adoption of HSBC standards and work in alignment with HSBC methodology at all times.
• Lead the team to meet performance targets aligned to programme objectives
The role is based within the FIDC ( Fixed Income, Derivatives & Collateral) change team. The individual will be required to work closely with Sponsors, Stakeholders, Technology, Business lines, Vendors and Central Programmes.
Required to act independently and with flexibility, mutli tasking but still ensuring strong attention to detail in line with HSBC Transformation and control standards.
·       Working Experience in Agile development, able to write user stories,
·       Experience in Global markets would be added plus but not mandatory
Role Requirements §  Build relationships with the Operations sites/teams, Business, Technology and wider change
§  Ensure the impact of change initiatives on Derivative Services Operations to processes, technology and people are identified and understood.
§  Aid in the design of suitable solutions or change intervention
§  Managing escalation issues and queries.
§  Ensure that the operations elements are fed into wider Programmes and Projects.
§  Ensuring that all project documentation is produced to the highest quality, on time and with appropriate sign-offs obtained.
§  Co-ordination of the new capability for the business to enable effective change and realisation of projected benefits
Understanding of how Derivative services are meeting their targets in line with the Global Market Operation objectives

Ø  Formal project qualification, desirable
Ø  Experience of Agile delivery – preferred.
