Role Description

Capco is looking for a structured, inventive and diligent person to join our UK COO team as UK Resourcing Lead.

As part of the wider Operations team, the UK Resourcing Lead role is central to the success of our business and happiness of our people.  You will champion Capco Culture – you are pro action, down to earth and favour simplicity over bureaucracy.  You are not afraid to get into the detail, thriving on solving problems, big or small.  You genuinely care about the career aspirations of our colleagues and are passionate about facilitating their journey at Capco.

As an individual, communication and influence are your forte.  You will operate at the intersection between the business and internal functions and are comfortable collaborating with a variety of stakeholders.  You are empathetic and thoughtful, considering the whole picture before taking decisive action in the best interest of Capco and our people.


  • Hands on involvement in day-to-day resourcing, recommending colleagues for projects to land the best possible teams to impress our clients and meet the career aspirations of individual colleagues
  • Opining on priority of competing demands across the business in terms of where we place our talent
  • Motivate and engage the UK Resourcing Team, providing oversight to internal projects and initiatives
  • Collaborate with UK Leadership, Recruitment and HR to devise and deliver a headcount plan which reflects the ambition of our business
  • Manage headcount plan in line with the business forecast and pipeline, reporting on key metrics such as utilisation and mobility
  • Identify and deliver strategies to improve the resourcing function, including improvement to processes and colleague experience
  • Understand the nuance of each of our distinct domains and capabilities, working closely with the COO team to devise a workforce plan which captures our aspirations to be a more flexible, inclusive employer
  • Deliver headcount reporting to facilitate business decisions, appreciating the need to customise for different stakeholders

Skills & Expertise:

  • People centric leader, adept in building relationships
  • Able to navigate an ever-changing view of “truth”
  • Comfortable setting tactical and strategic priorities which can often change
  • Experience in leveraging data to drive decision making
  • Proven examples of delivering initiatives which improve engagement or reinforce company culture
