About The Role


  • Lead delivery P&C work on a wide range of consulting projects within actuarial, pricing, underwriting / claims and advanced analytics domains
  • Drive the creation and output of insurance content, bolstering and supporting sales opportunities, and focusing on developing SME knowledge to help inform and provide insight to both CATO clients and colleagues
  • Support Insurance Practice Lead in new business and sales initiatives. Lead new business proposals, from planning responses, to leading orals to delivering client presentations
  • Keeping up-to-date of technical P&C industry developments such as Claims Transformation, Advanced Analytics, RPA / Automation
  • Developing P&C market offerings by contributing with innovative approaches to existing initiatives and other proofs-of-concept
  • Support the coaching and developing of junior team members within the Canada Insurance Practice and support the Capco Global Insurance Practice

About You


  • 6+ years Industry experience, preferably in a leadership role, in Insurance Operations (Product/Pricing/Claims)
  • 6+ years of experience managing business requirements, functional design, process design of insurance systems
  • Strong knowledge of digitization, underwriting rules and decision engines
  • Ability to manage multiple activities to meet client deadlines
  • Exceptional presentation skills and the ability to present to C Level Executives
  • Excellent verbal and communication
  • A Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) and / or the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA) is desirable.   Post-actuarial credentials like an MBA, CERA or CFA an asset
