About the Job:

As a Digital Project Manager with a specific focus on digital engagements, you will play a key role in the delivery of transformational digital products and services engagements for our clients. You will work closely with project teams (including digital strategists, UX/UI designers, product managers, engineers, data scientists and industry SMEs) and client stakeholders to understand client and user needs, resolve conflicts and remove barriers, and ensure deliverables are on-time and meet quality standards. This role will typically interface with a diverse mix of Capco and client employees, all working towards the ultimate goal of delivering a project on-time and at or under budget.  

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Assist in the definition of project scope and goals, including project and staffing estimation
  • Define and create project approach, including project plans, targets, milestones and dependencies
  • Track project/engagement dependencies, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful project implementation and deployment.
  • Maintain an understanding of client strategies, needs and requirements, and/or help the client to define them
  • Translate the client strategy, needs & requirements into clear direction for the Capco and/or client teams (some of whom may be technical specialists with limited purview)
  • Delegate tasks to the team member best positioned to complete them, while ensuring that team members of different skillsets collaborate and work together to complete deliverables
  • Lead client communications across all project work threads. Ensure appropriate client communications regarding issues and risks to foster project success and long-term client relationship.
  • Partner with clients, product owners and project teams to ensure on-time, and on-budget, quality delivery
  • Serves as internal escalation point person on projects and ability to successfully resolve problems and issues.

What You’ll Bring with You:

  • 5+ years project and/or program management experience, with experience leading projects across digital product delivery, UI/UX design and/or digital strategy
  • Experience working for a management and/or technology consulting firm and/or creative agency highly desired
  • Experience managing creative teams (visual design, content design, UX/UI design) to create user-centric solutions highly desired
  • Knowledge of various project management methodologies (agile/scrum, waterfall, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Experience creating and owning/managing project budgets
  • Experience working with financial services, insurance or energy clients a plus
