ROLE DESCRIPTION

Capco are looking for experienced Business Analysts - ideally experienced with working knowledge of the LIBOR transition and understanding of the industry proposed fallback rates and calculations

Responsibilities will include liaising with all front to back delivery teams across business, IT and functions to ensure requirements are understood and testing is coordinated correctly.

You will ensure successful implementation of the technical requirements into production systems and consider the business processes at the time of switching the contracts to ensure BAU is not disrupted whilst providing clear management status updates for tracking progress against the Regulatory milestone


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Business Analyst to support the delivery of the LIBOR fallback curve implementation across Primary Trading Systems
  • Relevant experience working on SDLC Global Markets projects, preferably within a Front Office change team
  • Working knowledge of the LIBOR transition and understanding of the industry proposed fallback rates and calculations
  • Good understanding of Fixed Income derivative products
  • Strong communicator who can liaise with multiple stakeholders across Trading, Quants, IT, Operations, Finance and Traded Risk
  • Confident Microsoft Office user
  • A desire to find ways to continually improve processes and service delivered
  • Set and achieved challenging short, medium and long term goals which exceeded the standards in their field
  • A flexible and adaptable attitude
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences
  • Contributed productively to team objectives, sometimes supporting and sometimes leading activities to achieve shared goals
  • An understanding of risk management and ability to ensure own/others' compliance with relevant regulatory processes
