ROLE DESCRIPTION

Capco are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team in the Responsible Investment Project.

Responsible Investment is largely focused on TCFD (recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures). Understanding what is needed to comply with, as a business, and then understanding where we are today and how we change the way the team are working to meet the new requirements and working with the specialised business areas to understand the opportunities and working through what & how we need to change to meet the future goals.

The preferred candidate will be expected to:

  • Be a self-motivator working in a mixed source team of Capco and client colleagues
  • Work closely with stakeholders (both technical and non-technical) to determine new and better ways of working
  • Specifically looking at understanding the proposed ‘to be’ state, performing gap analysis and recording requirements for:
    • Data & Systems
    • People & Process
    • Customer & Suppliers
    • Reporting & Governance
  • Recommend areas for change and provide support to the business as the changes develop to ensure adoption and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with team members across all parts of the business including 3rd parties
  • Work with specialised business areas to understand the opportunities, working through what & how we need to change to meet future goals


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience working within Financial Services / Life & Pensions as a Business Analyst
  • Regulatory background experience - successful applicant will be working on TCFD (recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures)
  • Business Readiness experience is essential
  • The ability to create a plan for implementing changes and getting the business ready for the ‘to be’ state
  • The ability to understand training and communications requirements
  • The ability to understand timings and dependencies, risks and impacts for the Business Readiness activity
  • Experience of Change Management methodologies – proven delivery experience working in a project environment with different methodologies
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mind-set
