ROLE DESCRIPTION

As Head of Careers and Engagement, you will develop the strategy, structure and approach needed to engage and enable talent to thrive in exciting and challenging careers. You will be part of the Talent CEO, reporting into the Head of Talent, Leadership and Performance

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and embedding a global career framework so that people understand what great looks like at each level as well as how to grow successful careers.
  • Developing and embedding the process to enable internal career mobility
  • Defining and embedding a fair and transparent promotions process.
  • Ensuring that careers start with a brilliant, welcoming first 90 days and that our people continue to be challenged and supported throughout their journey.
  • Setting up, managing and delivering bi-annual engagement surveys, partnering with the business to shape the approach to engage and retain critical workforce groups. You will draw on these insights to shape interventions that build engagement and create a positive impact.
  • Supporting key talent groups and succession candidates in building careers through visibility, opportunity and internal mobility.
  • Supporting people to take accountability for their own careers, providing the tools needed in order to do so.
  • Instigating communities of practice to build professional expertise.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • A successful track record in delivering impactful interventions in a complex and fast paced environment
  • Relevant experience in careers, engagement, talent and OD
  • Strong communication, relationship and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Data-driven approach, drawing on data and insights to impact change
  • Proactive and resourceful. Willingness to roll up your sleeves to get things done
  • Consulting experience helpful
