Role Overview 

 

  • A key role in the elicitation, definition, and organization of Business Requirements 
  • Define functional specifications 
  • Gain agreement, usually from business management, of the best method of introducing recommendations to the business 
  • Produce written documentation to report on findings and to present to stakeholders when necessary 
  • To participate in discussion and planning regarding business requirements definition 
  • Create functional requirements in use cases. Coordinate requirements walk-through and sign-offs, verifying with user representatives/stakeholders that use cases and process models accurately portray specific business needs 
  • Contribute to project plans 
   

Education / Certification 

  • A degree in IT / Computer Science or correlated areas

  • Self-motivated and able to take responsibility 
  • Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks 
  • Punctual and reliable 
  • Flexible attitude 
  • Able to build good relationships at all levels, internally and externally 
  • Able to interact with clients/business users directly 
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese 
   

Technical Skills 

  • Previous experience in Business / Systems Analysis or Market intelligence
  • Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions  
  • Knowledge in generating process documentation 
  • Understand Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum 
  • Can write User Stories in proper syntax 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
