Help Shape Our Future:

As our inaugural, executive sales and marketing role, the Chief Revenue Officer will have the opportunity to formulate and implement integrated revenue strategies. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will oversee all marketing, sales, customer success, and business development, playing an essential role in driving revenue growth and market expansion. Our dream candidate will be data-obsessed, passionate about team building, innovative, collaborative, and a lifelong learner. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shape Company-wide Strategies: Collaborate with the senior leadership team to shape and align company-wide strategies, driving growth and market presence.
  • Develop Beloved Brand: Lead the development of a brand that resonates with customers, employees, and stakeholders, creating a lasting impact in the industry. You know how to stick out from the crowd with a creative, authentic brand identity.
  • Oversee Efficient Marketing and Sales Motion: Direct and supervise marketing activities, ensuring highly efficient operations. Expertise in SEO, ASO, SEM, conversion rate optimization, social media, demand generation, corporate communications, lifecycle marketing, and product marketing is essential.  
  • Implement Scalable Sales Processes: Develop and implement repeatable sales processes to streamline operations and drive revenue growth. Experience with outsourced sales functions is desired. Supervise sales personnel, optimize performance, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Business Development: Spearhead strategic partnerships and integrations that drive revenue and create market expansion in tandem with cross-functional teams in product, operations, and finance.

Key Qualifications:

  • 10+ Years Leadership Experience Driving Revenue Growth: Prior experience leading an outstanding go-to-market organization, including both sales and marketing. Gifted presenter in front of colleagues, the board, and customers. Strong preference for tech startup experience.
  • Full Funnel Instrumentation and Unified Customer Profile Expertise: Commitment and experience in instrumenting the funnel from TOFU to BOFU, accurately measuring acquisition to retention by customer segment and channel. Experience driving creation and utilization of a unified customer profile to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. Your obsession with data is infectious. 
  • Efficient B2B Marketing and Sales Motion for SMBs: Demonstrated ability to drive highly efficient marketing and sales motions for low CLTV, high-volume SMB Sales. Versatility in SEO, ASO, SEM, brand, authentic storytelling, corporate communications, lifecycle marketing, and product marketing.
  • Impactful People Leadership and Strategic Talent Management: You’re on a continual quest to become the best leader your people need you to be. You embody servant leadership, and give skillful feedback often. You inspire people to achieve more than they believed possible, and you have a history of recruiting and building highly effective, diverse teams. Compensation will be based on experience and skill, commensurate with market rates and will include both salary and equity in Canvas.
